Shitalam Liquid Ingredients
Each 10 ml contains in ml aqueous extracts of
Ananthamoola – Sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 0.3 – Useful in skin diseases.
Manjishta – Indian madder – Rubia cordifolia – 0.3 – It is a famous herb for blood detoxifying.
Sariva – Hemidesmus indicus – 0.3
Chopchini – Smilax china – 0.3 – It has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties.
Gorakhmundi – Sphaeranthus indicus – 0.3 – It has anti-microbial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities.
Amrita – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 0.3 – Relieves burning sensation and useful in skin diseases.
Shankhapushpi – Convolvulus pluricaulis – 0.3 – Balances Pitta and Kapha dosha and useful in skin diseases.
Usheera – Vetiveria zizanioides (Linn) – 0.3 – It pacifies Vata and Pitta, relieves burning sensation and useful in skin diseases.
Chandana – Sandal wood – Santalum album – 0.3 – Detoxifies blood, balances Pitta dosha and useful in skin diseases.
Banafsha – Viola odorata – 0.3 – Good for skin, relieves pain and swelling.
Gulab Petals – Rosa centifolia – 0.3 – It has anti-septic, anti-inflammatory, blood tonic and anti-bacterial properties.

Pittaja Shirashoola – headache due to Pitta dosha.
Dosage
1 to 2 TSP three times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
