Rheumofit Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Chirayu Pharmaceuticals. It is used in the management of arthritis.
Ingredients of Rheumofit Capsule
Each capsule contains –
Guggulu – Commiphora mukul – 60 mg – It is a potent anti-inflammatory herb, so it is helpful to relieve pain in muscles, joints, ligaments and bones.
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 30 mg – Useful in rheumatoid arthritis.
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 20 mg – It has immuno-stimulant activity.
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 20 mg – It has anti-inflammatory activity.
Triphala – Emblica officinalis, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica – 60
mg
Shuddha Kupilu – Strychnos nuxvomica – 60 mg
Keshara – Saffron – Crocus sativus – 0.5 mg
Shuddha Malla – Purified Arsenic oxide – 10 mg
Karpoora – Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora – 20 mg
Maha vatavidhwamsana rasa – Ayurvedic medicine – 7.5 mg – Useful for the treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis, osteo arthritis, neuropathy, nerve irritation, neurological pains, sciatica, cervical spondylosis etc.
Indication
Arthritis, joint pain, back pain, stiffness,

Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Dosage
1 – 2 capsules thrice a day with water or milk,
or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Side effects of Rheumofit Capsule
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
