Rheuma-Va Taila is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Shree Narnarayan Pharmaceuticals. It is the combination of analgesic, anti-inflammatory oils, which also helps in restoring the mobility of joints by giving strength. It reduces swelling and tenderness of joints and muscle.
Ingredients of Rheuma-Va Taila
Maha narayana taila – Ayurvedic oil – 20 % – It helps to relieve emaciation, tendon tear, fractures and all types of arthritis.
Maha masha taila – Ayurvedic oil – 10 % – It is helpful to relieve pain of multiple joint aches and pains pertaining to hands, legs, head, neck.
Maha vishagarbha taila – Ayurvedic oil – 10 % – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of Disease due to Vata Dosha, Sciatica, Tetanus, Stiffness and tightness in back and limbs, Tinnitis and lack of tactile sensation.
Devadaru taila – Cedrus deodara – 10 %
Gandhapuro taila – Winter green oil – Gaultheria fragrantissima – 10 %
Pudina satva – Mentha piperita – 5 %
Ajamoda satva – Ptychotis ajowan – 5 %
Sarshapa taila – Mustard oil – Brassica campestris – 3 %
Tailaparni taila – Eucalyptus oil – Eucalyptus globulus – 2 % – It relieves pain.
Lavanga taila – Clove oil – Syzygium aromaticum – 5 % – Useful in aches and pains.
Jaiphala taila – Nutmeg oil – Myristica fragrans – 5 % – Useful in Rheumatoid arthritis.
Gandhaviroja taila – Ayurvedic oil – 5 %
Nirgundi taila – Vitex negundo – 10 % – It is a very good muscle relaxant and relieves pain.

Precaution if you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thoroughly with water or wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make the floor slippery.
Direction for use
To be applied over the affected area twice or thrice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
Side effects of Rheuma-Va Taila
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacturing.
During pregnancy, lactation
If
you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can
continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy,
better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare
cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult
your doctor for the right advice.
Can
this product be applied after steam therapy?
No.
Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic
principles.
