Excess urination

Does Prostowin capsule increase night urination?
I take one capsule at night. I pass urine every 2 hours throughout the night. Is this the side effect of this medicine?

Prostowin capsule is manufactured by BAL Pharma, used for the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH).

Usually people with BPH have an increased frequency of urination. Urine leakage and dribbling is also a common symptom in them. So, your symptom could be due to the illness itself, rather than caused by Prostowin.
Read: Ayurvedic Management of BPH

However, some ingredients in Prostowin, like Gokshura, Yavakshara etc. can cause increased frequency. My advice to you is, consult your doctor and he might change the time of this medication to morning / afternoon.

Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
