Ovarin Syrup: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Ovarin Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Ban Labs Pvt. Ltd. It is used in the treatment of irregular menstrual cycle.

Ovarin Syrup Indications

Irregular menstrual Cycle,
Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (D.U.B) in Pre-menstrual Syndrome, Menopausal syndrome,
Unexplained Infertility.

Dosage

1 to 2 TSP twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each 10 ml Ovarin syrup contains
Amla – Gooseberry – Phyllanthus emblica – 20 mg
Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 20 mg
Ashoka – Saraca asoca – 20 mg – It is an important Ayurvedic herb used mainly in bleeding gynecological conditions.       
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia (Willd) Miers – 12 mg
Haritaki – Harde – Terminalia chebula – 20 mg
Kadu – Katuki – Picrorrhiza kurroa – 10 mg
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa Roxb – 20 mg – It is mainly used in bleeding disorders.
Putranjivak – Putranjiva roxburgii Wall – 20 mg – It improves vigor, aphrodisiac.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 20 mg – Useful in treating male and female infertility.
Vaj – Vacha – Sweet flag – Acorus calamus – 15 mg
Vidarikand – Pueraria tuberosa – 20 mg – It is aphrodisiac, improves sperm and semen quantity and quality.
Yashtimdhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 20 mg
Hira Kasis – 24 mg
Shuddha Shilajit Asphaltum – 15 mg
Bamboo – Vans Kaur – Bambusa arundinacea – 10 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders.
Country mallow – Bala beej – Sida cordifoloia – 20 mg – It is an natural aphrodisiac.
Kamal Pushpa – Lotus – Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn – 20 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders.
Ubhi Bhoingani Panchang – Brihati – Solanum indicum – 20 mg – Used in treating female infertility.
Dashmool – 20 mg – Group of 10 drugs.
Jivanti – Leptadenia reticulata (Retz.) – 20 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, heavy periods, etc.
Baheda – Vibitaki – Terminalia bellirica – 15 mg
Nagarmoth – Cyperus scariosus – 15 mg
Safed Jiru – Cumin seed – Cuminum cyminum Linn – 20 mg – Cleanses and detoxifies uterus. Hence it is widely used in post partum care of the mother.
Kapikacchu – Kaucha  Mul – Mucuna pruriens – 10 mg – It is widely used in treating sexual and neurological disorders.
Rasna – Inula racemosa – 10 mg
Hrivera – Valo – Pavonia odorata – 10 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders such as menorrhagia, nasal bleeding, hematemesis etc.
Atibala – Balu Mul – Abutilon indicum – 10 mg
Jatamanshi – Spikenard – Nardostachys jatamansi – 12 mg
Haldar – Turmeric – Curcuma Longa – 12 mg
Daru Haldar – Berberis aristata Dc. – 12 mg
Lindi Piper – Piper longum – 12 mg
Saireyaka – Pilo Katasariyo – Barleria prionitis – 2 mg
Dhataki – Dhavadi Phul – Woodfordia floribunda – 12 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders such as menorrhagia, nasal bleeding, bleeding per rectum etc. (due to its astringent properties)
Sarapunkha – Tephrosia purpurea – 10 mg – Acts as blood detoxifier.
Variyali – Fennel seed – Foeniculam vulgare – 10 mg – Useful in relieving pain arising from female reproductive system.
Ratanjali – 10 mg
Indrajav – Holarrhena antidysentrica – 10 mg
Bilva – Aegle marmelos – 10 mg
Vayu vidang – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 10 mg
Indravaruni – Citrullus colocynthis – 10 mg
Khakhara Pan – Butea frondosa – 10 mg
Sukhad – Sandal wood – Santalum album – 10 mg – Detoxifies blood, useful in bleeding disorders and acts as aphrodisiac.
Jasmine – Chameli Pan – Jasminum grandiflorum – 10 mg
Celery – Ajmod – Apium graveolens – 10 mg
Danti mul – Baliospermum montanum – 10 mg
Ativish – Aconitum heterophyllum Wall – 10 mg
Majith – Indian madder – Rubia cordifolia – 10 mg – It is a famous herb for blood detoxification. 
Salmali – Bombax malabaricum – 10 mg – Aphrodisiac and relieves bleeding disorders.

Ovarin Syrup Side effects

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.     
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
