Normofem Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Herbotech Pharmaceuticals. It is a uterine tonic used in the treatment of uterine disorders.

Indication of Normofem Syrup

Leucorrhoea
Dysmenorrhea
Irregular menstrual cycle
General female weakness
Menorrhagia
Post IUCD bleeding
Anemia

Dosage

Syrup – 2 tsp thrice a day. Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?

This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each 10 ml of syrup contains –
Ashoka – Saraca indica – 100 mg
Udumbara – Country fig – Ficus glomerata – 50 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders.
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa – 50 mg – It is extensively used in female gynecological disorders like heavy bleeding, white discharge etc.
Hirabol – Commiphora myrrha – 50 mg – It cleanses uterus, female reproductive system.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 50 mg – It has nutritive, anti-spasmodic and aphrodisiac properties.
Vidarikanda – Ipomea digitata – 50 mg – It is nourishing, improves strength and immunity.
Thagara – Valeriana wallichii – 50 mg
Amrita – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 25 mg
Shilajitu – Asphaltum – 25 mg – It has anti-inflammatory, anti-septic and blood detoxifying activities.
Nagapushpa – Cobras saffron – Mesua ferrea – 25 mg
Yastimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 20 mg – It improves strength and immunity.
Compound mixture of equal part of –
Apple Gajar – Carrot – Daucus carrota
Methika – Fenugreek – Trigonella foenum graecum
Beet root – It cleanse and cool the blood.

Side effects of Normofem Syrup

There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
