Krimihar Syrup Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Krimihar Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Shree Dhanwantri Herbals. It expels intestinal worms.

Benefits of Krimihar Syrup

It expels all types of intestinal worms.
It stops transmission, prevents infections.
It is well tolerated by children & debilitated individuals.
It has proven efficacy & has better palatability.

Indications

Nematode infections from –
round worm,
tape worm,
thread worm & hook worm.

Dosage

Adults – 3 – 4 tsp at bed time for 5 – 7 days.
Children – half the dose of adults.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients

Each 5 ml contains distilled extracts of –
Musta – Nutgrass – Cyperus rotundus – 200 mg – Of all the herbs useful as absorbant, digestive and carminative, Musta is the best.
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 200 mg – It has antihelmintic activity.
Hingu – Ferula asafoetida – 100 mg – Useful in worm infestation, bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen.
Kampillaka – Mallotus philippensis – 100 mg – Useful for the treatment of skin diseases, wound and intestinal worm. 
Karpasa – Cotton plant – Gossypium herbaceum – 100 mg
Dadima – Pomegranate – Punica granatum – 100 mg
Palasha beeja – Butea monosperma – 100 mg – useful in intestinal worms.
Swarnaksheeri – Cassia angustifolia – 100 mg
Afsanteena – 50 mg
Kiratatikta – Swertia chirata – 50 mg – useful in intestinal worm infestation.
Indrayava – Kutaja seeds – Holarrhena antidysenterica – 50 mg – useful in relieving intestinal worm infestation.
Parasika yavani – Hyoscyamus niger – 50 mg – useful in intestinal worm infestation.
Kalamegha – Andrographis paniculata – 50 mg – useful in worm infestation.
Krishna jeeraka – Black Cumin – Nigella sativa – 50 mg

Side effects of Krimihar Syrup

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.                                             
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
