Hemopura Syrup: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Hemopura syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Akshay Pharma Remedies (INDIA) PVT. LTD. It is a blood purifier used in the treatment of skin allergies.

Indication of Hemopura Syrup

Pimples
Boils
Urticaria
Itching
Skin disorders
Diabetic ulcers
Eczema
Dermatitis of various etiologies

Dosage

Children – 1 tsp syrup twice or thrice a day.
Adults – 2 tsp syrup twice or thrice a day.
The dosage may be adjusted/modified as per the severity of the disorder.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With Other Medicines

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients

Each 5 ml of syrup contains extracts of –
Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa – 200 mg – It has anti-bacterial activity.
Triphala – 200 mg
Amla – Indian gooseberry – Embelica officinalis,
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula,
Vibitaki – Terminalia bellerica
Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – 150 mg
Ananthamoola – Indian Sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 125 mg – Useful in skin diseases, itching.
Turmeric – Haridra – Curcuma longa – 125 mg – Its external application relieves inflammation, swelling, pain, improves skin complexion, cleanses and heals wounds.
Cutch Tree – Khadira – Acacia catechu – 125 mg – It is a very famous skin benefiting Ayurvedic herb. 
Indian Madder – Manjista – Rubia cordifolia – 125 mg – It is used in many oral Ayurvedic medicines and in Ayurvedic oils for skin conditions.

Side effects of Hemopura Syrup

There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
