Haemoguard Syrup: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Dosage

10 ml thrice a day,
or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients

Each 10 ml contains –
Kushmanda – Ashgourd – Benincasa hispida – 500 mg – leads to modest increase in haemoglobin levels. The iron in seeds plays an important role in producing haemoglobin.
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 200 mg
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry – Embelica officinalis – 200 mg – natural anti-oxidant, removes free radicals from the body & helps in regeneration of cells.
Devadaru – Cedrus deodara – 150 mg
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 100 mg – anthelmintic properties kills the tapeworms and other parasites which is also one of the major reason for anemia.
Musta – Nut grass – Cyperus rotundus – 75 mg – It is the best carminative and digestive herb.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 75 mg
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 75 mg – it improves strength and immunity.
Swarna gairika – Red Ochre – 50 mg
Loha bhasma – Iron calx – 50 mg – It improves strength, immunity, digestive power and acts as natural aphrodisiac.
Shatavari – Buttermilk root – Asparagus racemosus – 50 mg – improves nourishment.
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 25 mg – it improves digestion strength.
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 25 mg
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 25 mg

Side effects of Haemogaurd Syrup

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.                                               
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
