Sri Sri Tattva Pachani Rasayana Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side effects

Sri Sri Tattva Pachani Rasayana is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Sri Sri Tattva Company. It is used in anorexia, loss of appetite, indigestion, sour eructation etc.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Sri Sri Tattva Pachani Rasayana Tablets:
Ginger – Adraka – Zingiber officinale – 0.9 gm – It is an appetizer and improves digestion strength.
Lemon – Jambira – Citrus limon – 0.9 gm – Increases digestion power.
Ginger paste – Adraka kalka – Zingiber officinale – 1.00 gm
Vacha – Sweet flag (rhizome) – Acorus calamus – 0.6 gm – it is digestive, improves digestion strength.
Tamarind – Chincha – Tamarindus indica – 0.4 gm – improves taste and digestion strength.
Chitraka – Leadwort – Plumbago zeylanica – 0.08 gm – It belongs to a group of herbs that improve appetite and digestion strength.
Ginger – Adraka – Zingiber officinale – 0.04 gm
Long pepper – Pippali – Piper longum – 0.04 gm
Black pepper – Maricha – Piper nigrum – 0.04 gm
Betal leaf – Piper betle – 0.04 gm – It helps to mask the bad breath caused by indigestion, gastritis.
Jai Patri – Myristica fragrans – 0.04 gm – improves taste and digestion strength.
Sukshma ela – Elettaria cardamomum – 0.02 gm
Clove – Lavanga – Syzygium aromaticum – 0.02 gm
Celery – Ajmoda – Apium leptophylum – 0.02 gm – improves digestion strength.
Sugar – Saccharum officinarum – 6.0 gm
Saindhava Lavana – Rock Salt – 0.05 gm – improves taste and digestion strength.

Indication

Aruchi – Anorexia, lack of interest in food
Agnimandhya – loss of appetite
Ajirna – indigestion
Truptigna – satiety
Amlodgara – sour belching
Anaha – bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen
Atopa – abdominal discomfort

Dosage

2 teaspoons thrice daily before or after food
or as directed by the physician.

How long to take?
This medicine is usually prescribed for a period of 1 – 2 months time.

With Other Medicines

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects and Precautions

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its use during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during the lactation period and in children for a limited period of a few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
