Sundari jeerak Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side Effects

Sundari jeerak  is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Multani  Company. It is mainly used in the treatment of Anaemia and loss of appetite diseases.

Sundari jeerak Indications

An ideal remedy for ladies that helps in pelvic-pain, anaemia, loss of appetite, nausea, giddiness, weariness, crankiness, hot flushes of palm and soles. Improves overall health and beauty.

Dosage

4 tsp with equal quantity of water twice a day after meals or as directed by a Ayurvedic physician.

How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.

Each 15 ml contains extracts of
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 35 mg – It is one among strength and immunity promoting herb.
Ashok chhal – Saraca indica – It has natural detoxification properties.
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa
Goksuru – Tribulus terrestris
Shweta musli – Asparagus adscendens
Punarnava – Boerhaavia diffusa – It has anti-oxidant activity.
Bala –  Sida cordifolia
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – It is considered as nervine tonic,and it has anti-oxidant property.
Brahni – Bacopa monnieri
Palasha pushp – Butea frondosa
Vacha – Acorus calamus
Kantakari – Solanum xanthocarpum
Dhai ka phool – Woodfordia floribunda
Yasthi madhu – Glycyrrhiza glabra – It has antimicrobial property and it improves body immunity.
Gambhari – Gmelina arborea
Gudhal phool – Hibiscus rosasinensis
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – Fruit of this herb is a appetizer.
Anantmool – Hemidesmus indicus – It is a general body tonic and has got blood purifying properties.
Nilofar – Nymphaea alba
Shankhpushpi – Convolvulus pluricaulis
Gorakhmundi – Sphaeranthus indicus
Indian madder – Manjishta – Rubia cordifolia – It is one of the best herb used for blood purifying and removes toxins from the body.
Sugar cane- Saccharum officinarum
Self generated alcohol NMT6%

With Other Medicines

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Sundari jeerak Side effects

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
Consult your doctor for its usage during pregnancy.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
