Stimuwin Syrup Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side Effects

Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Ayurwin Pharma Company. It is mainly used to improve Appetite and immunity of the body.

Stimuwin Syrup  Indications

To improve strength -bala
lifespan, – Ayu
Memory – Smruti
Intelligence – Medha
Health – Arogya
Voice – Swara
Complexion – Varna
Speech – Vaksiddhi
Appetite and immunity of the body.

Dosage

Infants:-1/4- ½ tsp twice a day.
Children-1 tsp twice a day.
Adults: 2 tsp twice a day. Or as directed by the Ayurvedic physician.

How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.

Yashtimadhu – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 150 mg – Glycyrrhizin having Antiviral and Immune Stimulant Activities.
Amrutha – Tinospora cordifolia – 100 mg – It is having immunomodulatory action.
Amalaki – Phyllanthus emblica – 100 mg
Tulasi – Ocimum tenuiflorum – 100 mg
Long pepper – Pippali – Piper longum – 80 mg – It is reportedly acrid, hot, light, digestive, appetizer.
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 100 mg – It has immunomodulatory action.
Punarnava – Boerhavia diffusa – 50 mg
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 80 mg
Vidarikanda – Pueraria tuberosa DC- 80 mg- Antioxidant activity of tuberosin isolated from Pueraria tuberose Linn.
Mandukaparni – Centella asiatica – 100 mg
Bhumyamalaki – Phyllanthus niruri – 150 mg
Vacha – Acrous calamus Linn – 80 mg – It acts as a rejuvenator for brain and nervous system.
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 50 mg
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 50 mg
Shankhapuspi – Convolvulus pluricaulis – 100 mg
Ginger – Shunti – Zingiber officinale – 80 mg
Black pepper -Maricha – Piper nigrum – 50 mg – It has digestive activity and immunomodulatory action.
Jeeraka – Cuminum cyminum – 50 mg

With Other Medicines

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine. It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children. Consult your doctor for its usage during pregnancy. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
