Madhumeha Kusumakara Rasa is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by SDL India. It is mainly used in the treatment of leucorrhoea and hyperacidity.
Uses and dose
Madhumeha Kusumakara Rasa Indications:
Complications of diabetes, polyuria, bed wetting, general debility, leucorrhoea, hyperacidity, breathlessness.
Dosage: 1-2 tablets once or twice a day.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Duration
How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.

Each tablet contains:
Vasant Kusmakara rasa – Suvarnayukta -10 mg – Used in treatment of diabetes, diseases related to urinary tract, memory loss etc.
Mamjjaka Ghana – Enicostemma littorale – 300 mg – Well known medicine used in diabetes.
Haridra – Turmeric – Curcuma longa Linn – 50 mg
Amalaki – Phyllanthus emblica – 50 mg
Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – 50 mg – Used extensively in treatment for fever, diabetes, urinary tract disorders, anemia, jaundice, asthma, cardiac disorders.
Shuddha shilajitu – Asphaltum – 40 mg
Yashada bhasma – – 5 mg

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
