Lama Lukordil Syrup Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side Effects

Lama Lukordil Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Lama Pharmaceuticals. It is mainly used in the treatment of menstrual and uterine problems.

Indication and usage

Lama Lukordil Syrup Indications:
leucorrhoea, irregular menstruation and uterine problems.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Duration

How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.

Lama Lukordil Syrup Ingredients:
Each 5 ml contains:
Ashok – Saraca asoka – 200 mg – It is best Ayurvedic herb used to normalize the menstrual flow, reduces vaginal infection.
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa – 200 mg – It is used in excess menstrual bleeding, vaginal infection, white discharge.
Swet chandan – Santalum album – 50 mg
Rakta chandan – Pterocarpus santalinus -50 mg
Jatamansi – Nordostachys Jatamansi – 50 mg – Used to induce periods, improves digestion, relieves bloating, depression.
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 50 mg – Improves immunity, restores physical strength.
Goksur – Tribulus terrestris – 50 mg
Punarnava – Boerhaavi diffusa – 50 mg
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 50 mg
Shatavri – Asparagus racemosus -50 mg – It is widely used herb in infertility, provides nourishment, improves immunity.
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 10 mg
Sarkara – Sugar – 2 gm
Sodium benzoate -12.5 mg
Potassium metalic sulphate -12.5 mg
Colour caramel q.s
flavour mixed fruit q.s
Purified water q.s to 5 ml

Side effects

Lama Lukordil Syrup Side effects:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
Consult your doctor for its usage during pregnancy.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Diabetic patient should avoid intake of this medicine as it contains sugar in it.
