Hiowna JR Kidz is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Himalaya Drug Company. It is mainly used for supporting physical and mental growth of children.
Indications and dose
Hiowna JR –Kidz Indications:
As a supplement in promoting physical and mental growth of children as a supplemental nutritional drink during convalescence.
Dosage:
2-6 years – Two heaped table spoons – approximately 12.5 grams twice daily.
7-10 years – Four heaped tablespoons – approximately 25 grams twice daily
Mode of usage
Serving instructions of Hiowna Junior Kids:
Take a cup of lukewarm/ cold milk or water.
Add 2-4 heaped tablespoons (approx 12.5-25 grams) of Hiowan
Stir briskly until mixed well
Add sugar to taste, if required.
How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Exts.Nartaka – Eleusine coracana – 200 mg
Mandukaparni – Centella asiatica -15 mg – Best Ayurvedic herb used to improve memory, immunity.
Peeyusha – Colostrum – 75 mg
Amalaki – Emblica officinalis- 50 mg – Helps improve mental and physical growth, modifies immune system.
Maricha – Piper nirgum – 6 mg – Acts as carminative, relieves indigestion, bloating, anorexia.
