G7 Capsule: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

G7 Capsule is a proprietary Siddha medicine manufactured by Dr.JRK’s Siddha Research & Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. It is used I the treatment of allergic skin disorders. 

G7 Capsule is an effective formulation with scientifically proven mechanism of action for the management of allergic skin disorders, pruritus associated with chronic eczema. Further G7 is also effective for the management of geriatric skin problems.

Indications

Indication of G7 Capsule:
Allergic skin problems
Chronic dry eczema and pruritus
Geriatric dry skin problems

Action

Action & benefit of G-7 Capsule:
Regulates mast cell degranulation and neutralizes histamine effect.
Minimizes itching and allergic manifestation of skin.

Dosage

Dosage of G-7 Capsule:
Adults – 1 capsule in the morning and 2 capsules at night after food.
Children above 5 years – 1 capsule once a day after food.
Children above 10 years – 2 capsules a day after food, or as directed by the doctor.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Ingredients of G-7 Capsule:
Each 500 mg capsule contains extracts of –
Amalaki – Embelica officinalis – 50 mg – Amla or Amalaki can be said as the most used Ayurvedic ingredient. It is both a food and medicine. The little fruit is stuffed with innumerable health benefits that can ever be imagined. The word Amla refers to sour, which is its predominant taste.
Madhusnuhi – Smilax cinensis – 100 mg – It is a plant mentioned for the treatment of cancer, syphilis, skin diseases, constipation, urine retention, disease of joint etc.
Sukhanasa – Corallocarpus epigaeus –  75 mg
Kundali – Clerodendron inerme – 100 mg
Shuddha gandhaka  – Purified sulphur – 25 mg
Shankha bhasma – 25 mg
Rasa parpam – 1 mg
Linga chendooram – 1 mg
Ponnimillai chendooram – 1 mg

Side effects

Side effects of G-7 Capsule:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
