Elup Fortified Ghee is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine in medicated ghee/ghritha form manufactured by Pentacare Pharmaceuticals. It is an anti-infective preparation for wounds.

Principle
In this herbal ghee, the herbs are infused in the medium of ghee along with herb water decotion. Then the solid waste herb materials are filtered out. Thus, this herbal ghee contains oil soluble and water soluble phyto-active principles of medicinal herbs.

Ingredients of Elup Fortified Ghee:
Each 10 ml of fortified ghee contains –
Palasha Pushpa – Butea monosperma –3 g
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa – 5 g
Lajjalu – Mimosa pudica – 4 g – It is a small plant which is used mainly in the treatment of wounds, piles, uterine prolapse, diarrhea.
Haridra – Curcuma longa – 3 g
Guggulu – Commiphora mukul – 500 mg
Pippali – Piper longum – 500 mg
Nimba – Azadirachta indica – 2 g
Karanja – Pongamia pinnata – 2 g
Ghrita – Ghee – 8 ml
Narikelataila – Cocos nucifera – 2 ml – Coconut oil

Direction for use of Elup Fortified Ghee:
Anoint the affected area with sufficient quantity 2-3 times a day.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
This product is meant for external application.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
