Aoim-Z Tablets: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Aoim-Z Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Solumiks Herbaceuticals. It is a perfect anti-oxidant & a potent immuno-modulator. 

Human body can be exposed to free radicals due to many reasons like faulty life style, cigarette smoke, air pollution etc. These free radicals have a potential cause ‘oxidative stress,’ a process that can trigger cell damage. Oxidative stress is thought to play a role in variety of diseases including cancer, cardio-vascular diseases, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease & eye diseases such as cataracts and age related macular degeneration. Antioxidants have been documented to counteract oxidative stress & protect the body. Ayurveda has described many anti-oxidants [Rasayana herbs] that have beneficial effect on different system of the body. Aoim-Z is an ideal combination of ingredients having Rasayana [Anti-oxidant & Immuno-modulator] properties as described in Ayurveda.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Aoim-Z Tablet:

Each coated tablet contains-

  • Guduchi [Tinospora cordifolia] – 500 mg
  • Amalaki [Embelica officinalis] – 500 mg
  • Ashwagandha [Withania somnifera] – 300 mg
  • Haridra [Curcuma longa] – 300 mg
  • Yasti [Glycyrrhiza glabra] – 300 mg
  • Brahmi [Bacopa monnieri] – 300 mg

Powders of –

  • Chausasta pippali [Piper longum] – 50 mg – Pippali – Long Pepper is a very unique spice. It has all qualities of a typical spice like useful in indigestion, asthma, cough etc. but it is also a very good aphrodisiac and anti aging spice. Consider this – Pleehamaye Pippali – For all spleen related disorders, Pippali – Long pepper fruit is the best.
  • Yashada bhasma – 25 mg
  • Abhraka bhasma – 25 mg – Abhrak Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine, prepared from Mica. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of asthma, urinary disorders, skin diseases etc. This medicine should only be taken strictly under medical supervision.

Processed in decoctions of-

  • Haritaki [Terminalia chebula]
  • Arjuna [Terminalia arjuna]
  • Shatavari [Asperagus racemosus]
  • Kumari [Aloe barbadensis]

Indication

Indication of Aoim-Z Tablet:
As an adjunct in –

  • Diseases involving free radicals [as an anti-oxidant].
  • Immuno-compromised host [as an immuno-modulator].
  • Inflammatory & degenerative joint disorders.
  • Associated cardiac disorders like hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipidaemia & atherosclerosis.
  • Diabetes mellitus.
  • Respiratory tract infections like chronic bronchitis, chronic sinusitis, chronic otitis media etc.
  • Wound healing after major surgery, burns etc.

Dose

Dosage of AoimZ Tablet: 
1 – 2 tablets daily, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
