Livenzy Syrup: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side Effects

Livenzy Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Atrimed Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. It is a broad spectrum liver tonic for hepatitis and other liver disorders. It stimulates liver enzymes.

  • Livenzy stimulates liver enzymes, protects histological architecture of liver cells.
  • It prevents fibrosis of liver and stimulates growth of hepatocytes thus improving liver function.
  • Livenzy protects the DNA from mutation by free radical scavenging activity and is proved effective against inflammatory diseases and early cirrhosis of liver.

Indication of Livenzy Syrup:

  • Hepatitis
  • Jaundice and other spleen and liver disorders
  • Fatty liver
  • Alcoholic liver
  • Loss of appetite
  • Indigestion
  • Liver dysfunction
  • Early cirrhosis
  • Sluggish liver
  • Cholecystitis
  • Post radiation and chemotherapy
  • Adjuvant with hepato-toxic drugs.

Composition

Composition of Livenzy Syrup:
Each 10 ml contains-

  • Katuki (Picrorrhiza kurroa)– 100 mg
  • Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)- 100 mg
  • Bhumiamalaki (Phylanthus niruri)- 100 mg
  • Bhunimba (Andrographis paniculata)- 50 mg
  • Bringaraja (Eclipta alva)- 50 mg
  • Sharapunkha (Tephrosea purpurea)- 50 mg
  • Kumari (Aloe vera)– 25 mg
  • Rohitaka (Amoora rohituka)- 25 mg

Dose

Dosage of Livenzy Syrup:
5-10 ml twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
