Pushkaramrith [Liquid] Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Pushkaramrith is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Swadeshi Pharmaceuticals, Udupi- Karnataka. It is an unique herbal remedy for respiratory disorders.

Uses

Indication of Pushkaramrith:
It is used in the treatment of bronchial asthma, bronchitis, common cold, pharyngitis, cough, laryngitis, sore throat, respiratory congestion, allergic cough with cold and sneezing and smoker’s cough.

Ingredients of Pushkaramrith:
Pushkaramula (Inula racemosa)
Vasa (Adathoda vasica)
Chandana(Santalum album)
Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna)
Maricha (Piper nigrum)
Pippali (Piper longum)
Ardraka (Zingiber officinale)
Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
Triphala (Embelica officinale, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica)
Dhamasa (Fagonia cretica)
Haridra (Curcuma longa)
Bharangi (Clerodendrum serratum)
Twak (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)
Kusta (Saussurea lappa)
Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa)
Dashamula

Dose

Dosage of Pushkaramrith:
15-30 ml twice or thrice a day after food, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Pushkaramrith:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Should be taken under medical supervision.
Can be taken during lactation and also in children.

Expiry date:
10 years from the date of manufacturing.
