Gynadis Syrup: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Gynadis Syrup is a well-known uterine tonic. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by AVN Ayurveda Formulations Pvt. Ltd., Madhurai- Tamilnadu. It helps in restoration of physical and physiological well-being and complete gynecological care.

Mode of action

Mode of action of Gynadis Syrup:
It controls excessive bleeding.
Regulates menstrual cycle
It alleviates the uterine pain during menstruation.
It eases the distress and discomfort during menstrual cycle.
Helps in hormonal regulation
Helps to correct the disorders of endometrial lining

Uses

Indication of Gynadis Syrup:
Menorrhagia
Metrorrhagia
Dysmenorrhea
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Ingredients

Ingredients of Gynadis Syrup:
Each 10 ml is prepared from aqueous extract of-
Ashoka (Saraca indica)- 2.000 g
Lodhra (Sympocos racemose)- 0.500 g
Musali (Curculigo orchioides)- 0.500 g
Shatavari (Asperagus racemosus)- 0.500 g
Amalaki (Embelica officinale)- 0.500 g
Jambu (Eugenia jambolana)- 0.500 g
Manjista (Rubia cordifolia)- 0.500 g
Sugar syrup- q.s.

Dose

Dosage of Gynadis Syrup:
10-15 ml thrice daily

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Gynadis Syrup:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Should be taken under medical supervision
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
