Debix tablet: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Debix tablet is a natural glucose regulator.  It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Sandu Pharmaceuticals Limited, Mumbai.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder characterized by impaired carbohydrate metabolism with potential risk of cardio-vascular complications.

Debix is the clinically proven herbo-mineral formula that eliminates the risk of cardio-vascular complications and rejuvenates body. It is a nervine tonic, strengthens organs and improves cellular metabolic activity.

Benefits

Benefits of Debix Tablet:
It stimulates Beta cells of Langarhans for the insulin secretion.
It inhibits absorption of carbohydrates from intestine into the blood.
It corrects polyuria by its astringent action.
It helps in regeneration of cells of pancreas by virtue of herbs like Gymnema sylvestre.
It corrects lipid metabolism and helps in preventing atherosclerosis which in turn prevent IHD, nephropathy and angiopathy.
It also acts as nervine tonic thus useful in neuropathy.
It particularly very effective in newly diagnosed mild to moderate cases of NIDDM.
Debix can also be used supportively in IDDM cases where insulin dose can be continuously titrated.

Indication of Debix Tablet:
Diabetes- in NIDDM as monotherapy or as an adjuvant to OHA. In IDDM as an adjuvant to insulin
Polyuria
Diabetic neuropathy
Diabetic erectile dysfunction
Diabetic retinopathy
Hyper-lipidemia

Ingredients

Ingredients of Debix Tablet:
Mesha shringi (Gymnema sylvestre)
Jambu (Syzygium cumini)
Saptachakra (Salacia chinensis)
Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna)
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)
Karavellaka (Momordica charantia)
Latakaranja (Caesalpinia crista)
Haridra (Curcuma longa)
Shuddha shilajitu (Purified asphaltum)
Vanga bhasma (Calx of tin)
Yashada bhasma (Zinc oxide)
Abhraka bhasma (Calx of mica)
Loha bhasma (Calx of iron)
Kupilu (Purified Strychnous nuxvomica)

Dose

Dosage of Debix Tablet:
1-2 tablets thrice daily as monotherapy
2 tablets twice daily as an adjuvant to OHA.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Should be taken under strict medical supervision
Should be avoided in pregnancy and lactation.
Over dose may cause hypoglycemia.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
