Hepableen Tablet is a complete liver protective. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Jammi’s Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals, Chennai.

Each tablet is composed of-
Yashada bhasma (Zinc oxide)- 83.3 mg
Tankana bhasma (Clax of borax)- 29.3 mg
Hingula bhasma (Clax of cinnabar)- 5.3 mg
Punarnavadi mandoora bhasma- 44.0 mg
Surakshara kasisa- 30.0 mg
Kanthavallabha rasa- 10.0 mg
Hutasini rasa- 3.3 mg
Rajath loha rasayana- 6.6 mg
Gokshuradi choorna- 33.3 mg
Kalamegha (Andrographis paniculata)- 14.6 mg
Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica)- 10.0 mg
Daruharidra (Berberis aristata)- 10.0 mg
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula)- 10.0 mg
Vibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica)- 10.0 mg
Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa)- 8.0 mg
Bhringaraja (Eclipta alba)- 33.0 mg
Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)- 10.0 mg

Mechanism of action

Justification for each ingredient of Hepableen Tablet:
Yashada bhasma– is considered useful in hepato-biliary disorders and anemia apart from its use in deficiency states.

Tankana bhasma– is antiseptic, antacid and local sedative.

Hingula bhasma– in small doses improves anemia and is a good indirect chologogue.

Punarnavadi mandoora bhasma– is a dependable anti-anemic principle and is good in cases of jaundice.

Surakshara kasisa– is a diaphoretic and mild diuretic useful in liver disorders.

Kantha vallabha rasa– is a dependable anti-anemic principle and is good in cases of jaundice.

Hutasini rasa– is useful in indigestion, fever and phlegm.

Rajatha loha rasayana– is useful in edematous conditions and in anemia.

Gokshuradi choorna– is a urinary antiseptic and a diuretic apart from its chologogue action.

Kalamegha– is a good chologogue and digestant.

Bhringaraja– is a good chologogue and digestant.

Dalchini– is a good carminative.

Chitraka– is a good appetizer and gastric stimulant.

Daruharidra– is antiseptic and is useful in liver and spleen disorders.

Vibhitaki– is one of the constituents of Triphala choorna, which is famous for its free bowel action. It is also useful in cough.

Haritaki– is one of the constituents of Triphala choorna, which is famous for its free bowel action. It is also useful in cough.

Punarnava– is useful in hepatitis.

Dose

Dosage of Hepableen Tablet:
Adults- 2 tablets, 3-4 times daily.
Children- 1 tablet, 6 times daily.
Infants above 6 months- 1 tablet, 4 times daily.
Children below 6 months- 1 tablet, 3 times daily. With a tea spoon if milk, honey or fruit juice, before food.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Hepableen Tablet:
No side effects are observed except for occasional tendency for vomiting due to individual idiosyncrasy.
