D-Tab Tablet is an ayurvedic anti-diarrheal, that is real easy on the gut.It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Jammi’s Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals, Chennai.

Indication of D-Tab Tablet:
Diarrhea
Dyspepsia
Abdominal/intestinal colic due to flatulence & indigestion

Each tablet contains-
Jatiphaladi choorna- 133 mg
Dadimastaka choorna- 133 mg
Asta choorna- 133 mg
Shankha bhasma- 133 mg
Ananda bhairava rasa- 67 mg
Excepients- q.s.

Mechanism of action

Justification for ingredients of D-Tab Tablet:
The judicious combination of the ingredients of the products confer on it, the properties of local sedative action on gastric mucosa, carminative, anti-emetic action with a mild antiseptic action.

Dadimastaka choorna is an excellent tool to combat diarrhea.

Shankha bhasma used to cure stomach ailments, infections and inflammations in the intestine. It has antacid properties and prevents indigestion.

Asta choorna is beneficial for gastric and digestive discomforts.

Jatiphala choorna helps to calm vata & kapha. Carminative and anti-emetic action with a mild antiseptic action

Dose

Dosage of D-Tab Tablet:
Adults- 2 tablets, 3 times daily.
Children- 1 tablet, 4 times daily.
Infants- ¼-1 tablet, 3 times daily, with milk or honey.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
