Combiforte Powder is an anti-dyspeptic and appetite stimulant. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Jammi’s Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals, Chennai.

Indication of Combiforte Powder:
Flatulence
Weak digestion
Heartburn
Diarrhea of non-specific nature and due to indigestion.

Contra-indication

Contra-indication of Combiforte Powder:
Frank peptic ulcers.

Composition

Composition of Combiforte Powder:
Each tea spoon contains-
Talisadi choorna- 60 mg
Shankha bhasma- 60 mg
Lavana bhaskara choorna- 120 mg
Hinguvastaka choorna- 240 mg
Preservatives & base- q.s.

Mechanism of action

Justification for ingredients of Combiforte Powder:
Talisadi choorna– is anti-spasmodic, carminative and expectorant.
Shankha bhasma– contains many calcium compounds and is used in dyspepsia, jaundice and as an anti-spasmodic.
Lavana bhaskara choorna & Hinguvastaka choorna- are carminatives and digestives.

Dose

Dosage of Combiforte Powder:
Adults- 2 teaspoon, 2-3 times daily, after food.
Children- 1 tea spoon, 2-3 times daily with tea spoon of honey or water.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
