Ayurin Tablet: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Ayurin Tablet is a permanent cure for anemia. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Jammi’s Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals, Chennai. It is useful in the treatment of anemia.

Indication

Indication of Ayurin Tablet:
Iron deficiency anemia.
Loss of appetite
Hepato-megaly secondary to deficiency states
Jaundice
Hair loss in both men and women

Composition

Composition of Ayurin Tablet:
Each tablet contains-
Punarnavadi mandoora bhasma- 120 mg
Kantha vallabha rasa- 100 mg
Triphala choorna- 100 mg
Gokshuradi choorna- 100 mg
Yashada bhasma- 30 mg
Excepients- q.s.

Mechanism of action

Justification for ingredients of Ayurin Tablet:
Punarnavadi mandoora bhasma- is a dependable anti-anemic principle and is good in cases of jaundice. Helps in regeneration of liver cells. This helps in pacifying vata & kapha.

Gokshuradi choorna- is a urinary antiseptic and a diuretic apart from its chologogue action. Helps in the assimilation of iron

Yashada bhasma- is considered useful in hepato-biliary disorders and anemia apart from its use in deficiency states.

Triphala choorna- is famous for its bowel action. Its richness in vitamin C helps to stimulate better iron absorption from food to the blood thus reducing the risk of anemia. It is an excellent blood purifier, thus prevents blood disorders.

Dose

Dosage of Ayurin Tablet:
Adults- 2 tablets, twice daily.
Children- 1 tablet, twice daily

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Ayurin Tablet:
No serious side effects are observed, excepting an occasional constipation if given in larger than the recommended dosage.
