  1. Hello Doctor,

The only manufacturer mwentioned is Arya Vaidya Sala kottakal, in their website for Meharimula they have used the name Salacia reticulata, instead here you have used Gymnema sylvestre, it is same as Gudmar.
I also see a article Salacia reticulata is described under the name of Saptachakra.
So is Gudmar, Madhunashini, Mehari moola, Salacia reticulata and Gymnema sylvestre the same thing?

  2. According to my limited knowledge and research on this:

I just bought and am using Amritamehari churnam. It lists Salacia fructicosa as an ingredient and not Gymnema.

Gymnema (Gudmar) is callled Meshashringi, Madhunashini in Sanskrit.

Salacia Reticulata, Salacia Fructicosa, Salacia Chinensis, Salacia Oblongata are called by the names Saptachakra, Saptarangi.

It is better to investigate into this and make necessary correction on this web page.

    Thanks
    Guru

  3. I am using Amritamehari churnam.

Gymnema is not listed as an ingredient.

Salacia fructicosa / Meharimula is listed as an ingredient.

Salacia is Meharimula and Gymnema is Madhunashini/Meshashringi. They are different.

This page needs to be updated accordingly.

  4. Whatever the ingredients, it has helped me in bringing my fasting sugar to very normal. Previously my fasting numbers varied from 127 to 140 depending on whether I consumed Potatoes, white rice, cakes etc. But now it varies between 95 & 105

  5. Hi Hebbar ji ,
You have mentioned to take this churnam after food . Should there be a gap after food to take this churnam ? If so , what’s the duration of the gap Sir .
