Jeevaniya tablet is used for the treatment of nervous debility, anemia and rheumatism. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Bipha Drug Laboratories, Kottayam.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Jeevaniya Tablet:

It is a rejuvenative. It improves body’s endurance, immunity, fights fatigue, promotes cellular health. In this Jeevaniya gana drugs are fortified with Annabhedi bhasma and Abhra bhasma.

• Jeevanthi (Dendrobium macrael)-described in Ayurveda as cooling and strengthening. It is given as a tonic in debility due to seminal discharge.
• Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)– is a tonic, alterative, astringent, aphrodisiac and nervine sedative.
• Shatavari (Asperagus racemosus)- is diuretic, galactogague, aphrodisiac and antispasmodic. Its use increases the secretion of semen and removes disorders of female genitals.
• Eranda – castor (Ricinus communis)-helps to cure nervous diseases and rheumatic problems like lumbago and sciatica.
• Vidari (Ipomea digitata)- is tonic, aphrodisiac and galactogague.
• Kantakari (Solanum jaquini)- it is used in asthma, cough, fever and pain in chest.
• Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa)– is a diuretic mainly acting on the glomeruli of the kidney through the heart increasing the beats and strength.
• Saariva (Hemidesmus indicus)- it is a valuable alterative, tonic, stimulant and diuretic.
• Annabhedi bhasma– promotes the formation of fresh blood and also corrects the disorders of abdomen, liver and spleen.
• Abhra bhasma – is indicated in asthma, cough and emaciation. It increases the formation of blood, strength and vigour.

Dose

Dose of Jeevaniya Tablet:

2 tablets twice daily before meals.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
