Asthmacure Tablet is used for treating cough, asthma, hiccup and chronic bronchitis. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured in Bipha Drugs Laboratories, Kottayam.

Uses

Uses of Asthmacure Tablets:

• It stimulates respiratory functioning, relaxes bronchioles and is an excellent respiratory care.
• Adathoda vasica are potent broncho-dialators and anti-histamines.
• Blasmodendron myrrha is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory agent, heals the inflammation of respiratory tract and analgesic with significant cardio tonic properties.
• Increases mucous activity, fights infection by increasing the production of white blood cells.
• Ocimum sanctum contains alkaloids that inhibit mast cell degranulation and histamine release in the presence of allergen.
• It has anti-microbial, anti-allergic, immunomodulatory, expectorant, anti-pyretic, anti-oxidant and anti-asthmatic properties.
• It is used in cough, hiccup, chronic bronchitis, allergic and bronchial asthma and respiratory infections.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Asthmacure Tablets:

• Pippali moola (Piper longum)-checks all inflammatory conditions, relieves cough, asthma, hoarseness and hiccup.
• Myrrha (Balasmodendron myrrha)-is given as stimulative expectorant in chest complaint, especially in chronic bronchitis and asthma.
• Vasa pathra (Adathoda vasica)-is expectorant, diuretic, antispasmodic and alterative.
• Thamboola swarasa (Piper betle)-juice is known to produce primary stimulation in the central nervous system.
• Thulasi pathra (Ocimum sanctum)-is a known domestic remedy for cold, cough, fever and bronchitis.

Composition of each Asthmacure Tablet:

• Magadhi- 125 mg – Pippali – Long pepper fruit
• Myrrha- 60 mg
• Vasa pathra- 65 mg – leaves of Vasaka – Adhatoda vasica 
• Excepients Qs

Dose

Dose:

• Adults- for the first month 1 tablet thrice a day before meals.
• Children- half the dose of adults.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
