Muniprabha Tablets – Uses, Dose, Ingredients

Muniprabha Tablets is a supportive therapy for the dialysis patients. An excellent preparation for the treatment of the genito-urinary tract. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Muniyal Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals. 

Uses

Uses of Muniprabha Tablets:

  • Excellent remedy for prostate gland enlargement.
  • Improves functions of the kidney.
  • Helps in the disintegration and elimination of urinary calculi.
  • Normalizes the uterine function and acts as uterine tonic.
  • General tonic for both male and female.

Dose, duration of use

Dose: 2 tablets twice daily.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to take? It can be taken for a period of 4 – 8 weeks, as directed by physician.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Muniprabha Tablets:

  • Shilajithu- acts as nephron-protective, diuretic and anti-urolithiatic.
  • Shuddha guggulu (Commiphora mukul)- acts as anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic. Hence prevents renal damage, relieves pain and inflammation in urinary tract infection.
  • Karpoora (Cinnamum camphora) acts as anti-microbial and diuretic.
  • Loha bhasma – Calx of Iron – Natural Iron supplement
  • Trivrit(Operculina terpenthum).

Storage, side effects

Storage:

Store in a dry cool place and in an air tight container.

Side effects of Muniprabha Tablets:

  • It should only be used under medical supervision.
  • Better to avoid in pregnancy.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Self-medication is contra indicated.
