Acibac Tablet – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Acibac Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine. It means that the formula of the medicine is designed by the manufacturing company and it is not present in any traditional Ayurvedic text books. It is manufactured by BACFO Pharmaceuticals India Limited, Noida, India. 

Uses

Acibact Tablets uses: it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Hyperacidity, Indigestion.

  • It relieves hyperacidity leading to accumulation of gas, heaviness in stomach after food, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, gastric reflux, constipation etc which are caused due to stress, faulty food habits, indigestion and drugs.
  • It overcomes aversion to food and loss of appetite.
  • It is suitable for all age groups.
  • It can be safely recommended in pregnancy.

Dose

Dosage:
2 tablets, two times a day after meals in hyperacidity,
1 tab three times a day after meal in indigestion

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects and precautions:
People with high BP should take this medicine under medical supervision, since it contains salt as an ingredient.
In a very high dose, it may cause loose stools.
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Keep out of reach of children.
Can be safely administered in lactation period. Consult your doctor for its use during pregnancy.
