Precaution if you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thoroughly with water or wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make the floor slippery.
Effect on dosha

Balances Vata and Kapha Dosha at the level of skin.

Arka tailam ingredients:
Arka patra swarasa – leaf juice extract of Arka – Calotropis gigantea
Haridra Kalka – paste of turmeric
Sarshapa taila – mustard oil
Method of usage
How to use:
This product is meant only for external application.
Apply this oil over the affected skin area, 1 hour before bath.
You can apply this oil 3 – 4 times a day.
For fungal infection of the ear – If it is is visible on the external ear, it can be applied with the help of a ear bud, but please consult your doctor before doing so.

Side effects and precautions
Side effects and precautions:
Avoid accidental oral intake. If taken orally by accident, have a cup of tender coconut water or sugarcane juice and consult a doctor nearby immediately.
In some people, this oil may cause burning sensation.
Store in a cool dry place.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
This can be applied during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.

During pregnancy, lactation
If
you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can
continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy,
better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare
cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult
your doctor for the right advice.
Can
this product be applied after steam therapy?
No.
Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic
principles.
