Insol-N Tablet is an oral Ayurvedic Anti-diabetic herbal medicine with a difference. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured in Muniyal Ayurveda Pharmaceuticals.

Uses of Insol-N Tablets:
- Drug of choice in NIDDM- keeps the blood sugar at normal level.
- In IDDM- reduces the daily requirement of insulin.
- Protects from complications like diabetic gangrene, diabetic neuropathy, diabetic retinopathy and vascular diseases like atherosclerosis.
- Brings down the blood sugar to normal level within 3-4 weeks.
- Lipid, cholesterol and tissue phosphatase of the heart, liver and kidney are bought down to normal level.
- Raises glycogen and protein levels in the tissues of the heart, liver and kidney to normal level.
- Regenerates Beta cells of Islets of Langerhans of the pancreas which secrete body insulin.
Diabetics can be advised to practice Ardha Matsyendrasana as it stimulates the pancreas.
A research work carried out at Manipal University has confirmed tha Insol-N has reduced HBA1C level among diabetic patients by 40% within 3 months. Average blood sugar level is also reduced considerably. The study have established highly significant satisfactory level of patients, confirming that Insol-N tablet improve quality of life among diabetics.
Dose
Dosage:
2 tablet thice daily in NIDDM .
2 tablet twice daily in IDDM.
Usually it is advised after food.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Should be stored in air tight container.
Side Effects of Insol-N Tablets:
- It is better to be avoided in pregnancy and lactation.
- Since it contain bhasmas and also natural oral hypoglycemics, over dose may lower blood glucose levels.

What is your experience with this medicine?
It is one of the best anti diabetic medicines that I have ever used. Have not come across any side effects with it. 2 tablets 2 times a day after food can be useful in a fasting blood sugar level of 150 mg/dl.
Higher dose may be required in higher sugar levels.
Can I Quit Allopathy medicine and consume Insol-N
It requires monitoring for at least 2 – 3 months time. A lot of it depends on your sugar levels.
