Karpooradyarishta is an Ayurvedic medicine in liquid form, used in the treatment of dysentery and diarrhoea. It is formulated and manufactured by an Ayurveda company called IMIS. It contains self generated natural alcohol in it. This self generated alcohol and the water present in the product acts as a media to deliver water and alcohol soluble the active herbal components to the body.

Karpooradyarishta uses: It is used a vedic medicine for dysentery and diarrhoea. It is also used in the treatment of abdominal pain and flatulence.
Dose, diet rules
Dose: Adults – 10 – 15 ml 2 – 3 times a day, after food, or as directed by Ayurveda doctor. If it is too strong, then it can be added with equal quantity of water before consumption.
Children – 5 – 10 ml, twice a day or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
Diet: Rice with buttermilk
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Kutaja – Holarrhena antidysenterica 5 % w/v
Gambhari – Gmelina arborea 0.5 % w/v
Karpoora – Cinnamomum camphora – 0.5% w/v
Shunti – Ginger – 0.1 % w/v
Musta – Cyperus rotundus – 0.1 % w/v
Vidanga – Embelia ribes – 0.1 % w/v
Lavanga – clove – 0.1 % w/v
Guda – Jaggery – 30 % w/v
Precautions, package
Precautions and Side effects: Higher dose than prescribed may cause burning sensation in stomach. Children, pregnant and lactating mothers should seek doctor’s advice before taking this medicine.

Is there a madicin to increes tridosha ?not to culm them all.
Hi, among Vata, Pitta and Kapha, if one goes up, then other comes down, so there is no condition where all the three are decreased.
