Ingredients
Ingredients of Madhumega Kudineer Chooranam:
Vilva elai – Bilva – Bael – Aegle marmelos – 16.66 % – It has hypoglycemic activity.
Nilavembu – Kalamegha – Andrographis paniculata – 8.33 % – It lowers blood sugar levels.
Naval elai – Jambu – Jamun – Syzygium cumini – 16.66 % – It is specially beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in diabetics.
Maavilai – Amra – Mango – Mangifera indica – 16.66 % – Useful in urinary tract disorders, diabetes.
Veppilai – Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – 16.66 % – It helps in diabetes, it helps to lower the blood glucose levels. It also helps to heal wounds quickly and relieves skin diseases such as diabetic carbuncles.
Adathodai elai – Vasa – Malabar nut – Adhatoda vasica – 8.33 % – Useful in urinary tract disorders, diabetes.
Sirukurinjan eali – Meshashringi – Gymnema sylvestre – 16.66 % – It is a herb popularly known for its anti- diabetic action and is mentioned in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes, renal calculi, cough, snake poison and jaundice.
Indication
Indications of Madhumega Kudineer Chooranam:
- Madhumegam [diabetes mallitus]
- Kaikal kuthal, erivu [burning & tingling sensation of hand & feet]
- Karapatha soolai
- General tonic.
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Madhumega Kudineer Chooranam:
- Take 5 g of the powder mix it with 300 ml of water, boil & reduce to 30 ml. and give it by addition with honey twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
