Uteract Liquid is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Sagar Pharmaceuticals. It is used in the treatment of Menorrhagia.
Uteract Liquid Ingredients

Ashoka – Saraca asoca – 25 mg – It is an important Ayurvedic herb used mainly in bleeding gynaecological conditions.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 20 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, Menorrhagia, rectal bleeding etc.
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa Roxb – 20 mg – It is mainly used in bleeding disorders, diarrhea and eye disorders.
Musali – Chlorophytum borivilianum – 20 mg
Khadira – Acacia catechu – 250 mg
Jambu – Jamun – Syzygium cumini – 250 mg
Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris – 250 mg – Relieves abdominal colic pain and has anti-inflammatory activity.
Musta – Cyperus rotundus – 150 mg
Eranda – Castor – Ricinus communis – 150 mg
Vasa – Malabar nut – Justicia adhatoda – 150 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders, detoxifies blood.
Bala – Country mallow – Sida cordifolia – 150 mg – It improves strength and immunity.
Patranga – Caesalpinia sappan Linn – 50 mg – It is useful in white discharge (leucorrhea), heavy periods and shortened periods.
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 50 mg
Ushira – Vetiveria zizanioides – 50 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders.
Rakta chandana – Red Sandalwood – Pterocarpus santalinus – 50 mg
Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 100 mg – It cleanses and detoxifies uterus.
Indication
Menorrhagia, Metrorrhagia,
Leucorrhoea of varied etiology,
PMS, Low backache,
Dysmenorrhoea.
Dosage
10 to 15 ml twice or thrice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Uteract Liquid Side effects
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
