Sujirna Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by BAL Pharma Ltd. It is used in the treatment of Loss of Appetite.
Sujirna Capsule Ingredients
Each 800 mg capsule contains in mg extracts equivalent to
Ardraka – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 66.6 mg – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Pippali – Long Pepper – Piper longum – 66.6 mg – Useful in indigestion, relieves Ama.
Maricha – Black Pepper – Piper nigrum – 66.6 mg – It has hepato-protective, anti-spasmodic and anti-diarrheal activities.
Bilva – Bael – Aegle marmelos – 200 mg – It improves digestion strength.
Mustaka – Cyperus rotundus – 200 mg – Off all the herbs useful as absorbant, digestive and carminative, Mustha is the best.
Parpata – Fumaria parviflora – 200 mg – Absorbent, bowel binding, useful in IBS, diarrhea, anorexia, vomiting.
Indications
loss of appetite,
Indigestion and Gastric disorders.
Dosage
2 capsules twice daily.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
