Stonex Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by BAL Pharma Ltd. It is used in the treatment of kidney stone.
Stonex Capsule Ingredients
Kramuka ksharam – Betel nut – Areca catechu – 0.025 g
Gokshura Kshara – Tribulus – Tribulus terrestris – 0.025 g – It has lithotryptic and diuretic activities.
Veerathara – Ushira – Vetiveria zizanioides (Linn) – 0.045 g – Relieves dysuria, urinary retention and acts as diuretic.
Sahachara – Nilgirianthus ciliates – 0.045 g
Vashira – Lippia nodiflora – 0.045 g – It has anti-urolithiatic and anti-bacterial activities.
Agnimantha – Clerodendrum phlomidis – 0.045 g – It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – It has anti-urolithiatic and anti-microbial activity.
Shwadhamshtra – Tribulus terrestris – 0.045 g
Kakamachi – Black nightshade – Solanum nigrum – 0.045 g – Useful in urinary tract diseases.
Kandasari – Sugar – 0.045 g
Kusha – Desmostachya bipinnata – It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic and laxative activities.
Nala – Phyllanthus maderaspatensis – 0.045 g
Gundra – Saccharum ciliare – 0.045 g – It has diuretic and anti-inflammatory activities.
Kasha – Saccharum spontaneum – Useful in dysuria, kidney and bladder stones.
Darbha – Imperata cylindrica
Dunduka – Shyonaka – Oroxylum indicum – 0.045 g – One of the best herbs to treat urinary tract disorders.
Kurundika – Psychotria curviflora – 0.045 g
Indications
Kidney stone,
Biliary calculi,
Pancreatic stone.
Dosage
2 Capsules thrice daily.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
