Pylsact Tablet: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Pylsact Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Millennium Herbal Health Care Ltd. It is used in the treatment of ano-rectal disorders.

Hemorrhoids internal & external – Bleeding piles
Fistula-in-ano
Anal fissures

Dosage

2 tablets twice a day after meals for 2 months,
or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each tablet contains extracts of –
Surana – Elephant foot yam – Amorphophallus campanulatus – 100 mg – It relieves constipation, hemorrhoids and helps in wound healing.
Equal mix of – 34.50 mg
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinalis
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – It improves digestion strength.
Pippalimoola – Long pepper root – Piper longum
Equal mix of – 21.50 mg
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum – It improves taste and digestion power.
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Nagakeshara – Mesua ferrea – It has anti-inflammatory property.
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala – It improves digestion power and taste.
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 11.50 mg
Lajjalu – Sensitive plant – Mimosa pudica –  10.00 mg
Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – 10.00 mg – It has analgesic and anti-ulcer activity.
Equal mix of – 8.70 mg
Vibhitaki – Belleric myrobalan – Terminalia bellerica
Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – It helps to ease bowel movement, one of the complications in hemorrhoids. It helps in reducing the pile mass.
Amalaki – Gooseberry – Emblica officinalis – It relieves constipation.
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 6.70 mg
Vriddhadaru – Argyreia speciosa – 2.65 mg – It has anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties.
Chitraka – Leadwort – Plumbago zeylanica – 1.55 mg – It improves digestion power.
Bhallataka – Marking Nut – Semecarpus anacardium – 1.44 mg
Krishna Musali – Curculigo orchioides – 0.92 mg
Talisa patra – Taxus baccata – 0.48 mg – It improves taste and digestion strength.

Side effects of Pylsact Tablet

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
