Indication of Nopil DS Tablet
Bleeding & non-bleeding piles
Painful & itching piles Ano-rectal inflammations.

Dosage
Acute phase – 2 tablets 4 times a day.
Chronic phase – 2 tablets twice or thrice a day.
Maintenance – 2 tablets twice a day. With warm water. Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use? This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each coated tablet contains –
Katuki – Picrorrhiza kurroa – 80 mg – It acts as purgative.
Chitraka moola – Root of Leadwort – Plumbago zeylanica – 40 mg
Kutaja beeja – Conessi seed – Holarrhena antidysenterica – 40 mg – Useful in the treatment of Vataja type of piles.
Karanja – Indian beech – Pongamia pinnata – 40 mg – Helps in quick wound healing.
Nagakeshara – Cobras saffron – Mesua ferrea – 40 mg – It has anti-inflammatory activity.
Arishtaka – Soap nut – Sapindus trifoliatus – 40 mg
Saindhava lavana – Rock salt – 40 mg – It helps to dissolve and expels doshas from the intestine and relieves constipation.
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 40 mg – It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities and relieves constipation.
Shyonaka – Oroxylum indicum – 40 mg – It is appreciated for analgesic, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory action.
Micronized & potentised with –
Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 100 mg – It helps to ease bowel movements, one of the complications in hemorrhoids. It helps in reducing pile mass and reducing/stopping bleeding.
Lajjalu – Sensitive plant – Mimosa pudica – 100 mg – It has anti-microbial activity.
Side effects of Nopil DS Tablet
There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
