Swarnapatri – Senna leaves – Cassia angustifolia – 150 mg – Acts as mild laxative
Nishoth – Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – Root – 100 mg – It is the best purgative herb
Aragwadha – Cassia fistula – Fruit pulp – 50 mg –
Yashtimadhu – Glycyrrhiza glabra – Root – 50 mg
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – Rhizome – 50 mg – Used as the best carminative and digestive.

Dosage

With western medicines

If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
