Saptgun Tel is an Ayurvedic medicine in oil form, useful in the treatment of burns, sores, wounds, swelling etc. It is also called as Saptagun Tail.
Ingredients
Ingredients of Saptgun Tel:
Chebulic myrobalan – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula
Belleric myrobalan – Bahera – Terminalia bellirica – It has anti oxidant and anti microbial activities.
Gooseberry – Amalaki – Emblica officinalis – It has anti inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Sambhalu – Nirgundi – Vitex negundo – It is a very good muscle relaxant and pain relieving herb.
Ral – Shorea robusta – Ral is the gum extracted from Sal tree (Shaala). It is the astringent Ayurvedic medicine widely used in skin diseases, stops bleeding, heal wounds, herpes, burn wounds, fractures etc.
Tarpin Tel – Gandhabiroja – Pinus longifolia – It is useful in muscle pain or cramps, wounds, swelling etc.
Eucalyptus oil – Nilgiri tel – Eucalyptus globulus – It is used to treat joint pain, muscle pain, headache.

Guggulu – Commiphora mukul – It is a potent anti inflammatory herb, so it is helpful to relieve pain in muscles, joints, ligaments and bones.

Directions for use
Directions for use of Sapthagun Taila:
Apply gently on the effected area or as directed by physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
Side effects, shelf life
Side effects of Saptagun Tail:
There are no known side effects with this product.
However, it is best to use this product under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for it’s usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.
Shelf life:
3 years from the manufacturing date.
During pregnancy, lactation
If you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy, better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult your doctor for the right advice.
