Patanjali Divya Shuddhi Churna: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side effects

Patanjali Divya Shuddhi Churna is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Patanjali Ayurved Limited. It is useful in constipation, indigestion, flatulence, loss of appetite etc.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Patanjali Divya Shuddhi Churna:
Harad – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – It improves digestion strength and promotes bowel movement.
Baheda – Vibhitaki – Terminalia bellerica – It has laxative action, useful in constipation, worm infestation etc.
Bhumi Amla – Phyllanthus niruri
Tankan Bhasm – Borax Calx – It improves digestion power, relieves bloating, abdominal colic pain.
Jeera – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – It is very good in treating digestive track disorders.
Hing – Ferula asafoetida – Useful in abdominal tumor, bloating, abdominal colic pain, constipation, worm infestation etc.
Indrayan – Citrullus colocynthis – It is very hot in nature and is a potent purgative.

Indications of Patanjali Divya Shuddhi Churna:
Constipation
Indigestion
Flatulence
Loss of appetite
Bloating
Abdominal colic pain

Dose

Dosage of Patanjali Divya Shuddhi Churna:
1 – 3 tea spoons at night, after food with warm water.
Or as directed by the physician.
It can be continued for a period of 1 – 2 months, based on your doctor’s advice.

Side effects

Side effects of Patanjali Divya Shuddhi Churna:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Two years from the date of manufacturing. If you have opened the seal of the container, better to finish the medicine within 2 – 3 months.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
