Chirattai Thailam is a classical Siddha medicine in oil form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used for treating various skin disorders.

Ingredients of Chirattai Thailam:
Sirattai odu – Narikela – Coconut – Cocos nucifera [shell] – 100 %

Indication

Indication of Chirattai Thailam:

  • Naatpatta thole noigal [chronic skin diseases]
  • Sori [itches]
  • Padar thaamarai [ring worm]
  • Padaigal [eczema]
  • Thole thadippu [thickening of skin] etc.
  • Useful in mosquito bite scars, sun tan, white heads, sensitive skin.

Application on feet

Oil application over feet

Precaution if you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thouroughly with water or wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make the floor slippery.

Direction for use

Direction for use of Chirattai Thailam:
To be applied on the affected area after diluting it with equal quantity of coconut oil.
Can also be applied along with ‘Amrita vennai’ preparation.
Or as directed by the physician.

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • For external use only.
