Sirungi Parpa Tablets Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Sirungi Parpa Tablet is a classical Siddha bhasma in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of various pitta disorders. It is reputed remedy in marbu vali [chest pain].

Ingredients

Ingredients of Sirungi Parpa Tablet:
Each 100 mg tablet contains –
Sirungi – Sringi – Cevus equines – 100 % – It balances Vata and Pitta. It is used in the treatment of gastritis, hiccup, intercostal neuralgia, asthma, bronchitis, cold, cough, heart burn etc.
Velampisin – Babbula – Acacia nilotica – q.s.

Indication

Indication of Sirungi Parpa Tablet:

  • Ammai [small pox, measles, & variety of these]
  • Ganam/ kanai choodu [rickets]
  • Piththa noigal [diseases of bilious origin]
  • Irumal kaasam [cough]
  • Elumburukki noi [emaciation]
  • Marbu noi [diseases of the chest] etc.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Sirungi Parpa Tablet:
2 – 4 tablets with curd or ghee after food twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects and package

Side effects of Sirungi Parpa Tablet:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
