Zanduzyme Forte Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Zandu Pharmaceutical Works Ltd. It is used in the treatment of Indigestion.

Zanduzyme Forte Ingredients

Each tablet contains –
Trikatu –
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – It improves taste and digestion power.
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – It relieves tastelessness, bloating and worm infestation etc.
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – It relieves indigestion and improves digestion strength.
Papaya – Carica papaya – 30 mg – It improves digestion strength.
Shankh Bhasma – Conch shell – 30 mg – It is useful in the treatment of gastritis, acidity, abdominal colic, malabsorption syndrome, dyspepsia, vomiting, nausea, acne, etc.
Chitrak – Leadwort – Plumbago zeylanica – 20 mg – Of all the herbs that are carminative, digestive, useful in hemorrhoids, anti inflammatory, and anti colic, leadwort is the best.
Pippali mool – Long pepper root – Piper longum – 15 mg 
Dantimool – Baliospermum montanum – 15 mg – It relieves gas, fullness of abdomen, bloating etc.
Ajwain – Carom seed – Ptychotis ajawan – 15 mg – It relieves abdominal colic pain, bloating, worm infestation etc.
Vatsanabha – Aconitum ferox – 15 mg – It relieves indigestion.
Chincha Bhasma – Ash prepared from Tamarind – 15 mg – It relieves abdominal colic pain and improves digestion strength.
Hingu – Ferula asafoetida – 15 mg – Digestive, carminative, restores normal movement of Vata, and useful in bloating.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 15 mg – It improves digestion strength.
Vishtinduk – Strychnos nux vomica – 15 mg – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Kajjali – Black sulphide of mercury – 15 mg
Yava kshar – Alkali preparation prepared from Barley plant – 10 mg – Used in treating urinary diseases, abdominal pain, bloating, etc.   
Sajji kshar – Ayurvedic preparation – 10 mg – It relieves flatulence, abdominal colic pain, indigestion, gastritis etc.
Surya kshar – Potassium nitrate – 10 mg.

Zanduzyme Forte Dosage

Adults: 2 – 3 tablets twice or thrice a day.
Children: 1 tablet twice or thrice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
