Udarsudha Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Santhigiri Ayurvedic Pharmacy. It is used in the treatment of dyspepsia.
Udarasudha Syrup Ingredients
Eranda – Castor – Ricinus communis – 0.33 g – It relieves bloating, gas distension in abdomen, abdominal colic and constipation.
Chira bilva – Indian Elm – Holoptelea integrifolia – 0.33 g – Useful in nausea, indigestion and acts as blood purifier.
Punarnava – Boerhavia diffusa – 0.33 g – It improves digestion strength.
Danthi – Baliospermum montanum – 0.33 g – It acts as purgative and induces diarrhea.
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 0.33 g – Breaks down stool particles into small pieces by its piercing qualities, relieves constipation.
Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 0.33 g – It promotes bowel movement and improves digestion strength.
Krishna Jeera – Black Caraway – Carum carvi (Linn.) – 0.33 g – Carminative, and relieves bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen etc.
Duralabha – Tragia involucrata Linn – 0.33 g
Gudam – Jaggery – 3.75 g
Draksha – Raisins – Vitis vinifera Linn – 0.33 g
Dhathaki – Woodfordia fruticosa – 0.31 g
Chithraka – Plumbago zeylanica – 9 mg – It improves digestion strength.
Jirak – Cumin – Cuminum Cyminum – 16.6 mg – Useful in the treatment of bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen etc.
Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 134 mg
Indications
Constipation,
dyspepsia, gas trouble
and urinary obstruction.
Dosage
Adults: 25 ml twice a day.
Children: 10 ml twice after food,
or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
