Suswas Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by BAL Pharma Limited. It is used in the treatment of cold.
Suswas Capsule Ingredients
Brihati – Solanum indicum Linn – 266.6 mg – Useful in asthma, chronic respiratory diseases.
Ardraka – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 66.6 mg – Balances Kapha, useful in productive cough, asthma, and chronic respiratory diseases.
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 66.6 mg – Relieves cough, cold, asthma, COPD and other respiratory diseases.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 133.3 mg – It has immuno-modulatory effect.
Pushkaramoola – Inula racemosa – 133.3 mg – It has anti-histaminic, broncho-dilatory, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Mahabala – Sida spinosa Linn – 133.3 mg

Cough,
Respiratory ailments of varied etiology.
Dosage
2 capsules thrice daily,
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
