Miniscar Cream: Benefits, How To Use, Ingredients, Side Effects

Cream is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Charak Pharmaceuticals. Miniscar Cream is effective in reducing scarring & scar tissues.

Benefits of Miniscar Cream

Prevents stretch marks.
Removes the scar from minor burns, injury, and acne.
Useful in mosquito bite scars, sun tan, white heads, sensitive skin.

Indication

Scars resulting due to injuries, burns, acne, post-surgery.
Stretch marks during pregnancy [Striae gravidarum]
Stretch marks due to obesity.

Ingredients

Each 5 g of cream contains –
Kumari – Aloe barbadensis – 150 mg – It is useful in treating burn wounds, boils, blisters and other skin conditions.
Extracts of –
Ashmabheda – Rotulaequatica – 100 mg
Sariva – Hemidesmus indicus – 100 mg – It is useful in the treatment of skin disorders.
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa – 100 mg – It is used to treat skin conditions and helps in wound healing.
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 50 mg
Babbula – Acacia arabica – 50 mg – It cures ulcers and cures skin diseases.

Direction for use

To be applied over the affected area twice or thrice a day after mild cleansing or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

Do’s, Don’ts

Do’s

Eat more of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Drink plenty of water.
Keep the skin well moisturised.

Don’ts

Do not scratch or squeeze the wound or acne.
Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Side effects of Miniscar Cream

There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.                                                                 
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
