Indications of Lodhra:
A general health tonic.
Used in menstrual disorders- amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, leucorrhoea.
In displacement and inflammation of uterus.
Also used in fibroid state, menopausal disturbances like irritation, anxiety, water retension, depression, sweating, fatigue and cramps in leg.
An anti-oxidant to prevent mutation of normal cells to malignant cells under the influence of the environmental mutogens.

Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa)
Asoka (Saraca indica)
Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
Khadira (Acacia catechu)
Amra (Magnifera indica)
Laksha (Laccifer lacca)
Dhataki (Woodfordia fruticosa)
Shalmali (Salmalia malabarica)
Manjista (Rubia cordifolia)
Chandana (Santalum album)
Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris)
Musali (Curculgo orchioides)
Usheera (Anropogen muricatus)
Tuna (Cedrala tuna)
Udumbara (Ficus racemosa)
Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna)
Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysentrica)
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula)
Musta (Cyperus rotendus)
Syrup base
Dose
Dosage of Lodhra:
10 ml with equal quantity of water twice daily, before food.
Before puberty- 5 ml with equal quantity of water twice daily, after food.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Lodhra:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
Should be taken under medical supervision.
Keep out of reach of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
Presentation:
Bottles of- 300 ml, 200 ml & 150 ml.
Habit forming
Is
this medicine habit forming? Does it create dependence? Can we stop it after a
few months of usage?
This
medicine is not habit forming. After using for the prescribed period, your
doctor would gradually decrease the dose and eventually stop it. Follow your
doctor’s instructions for gradual decrease of dose and stopping. Usually it
does not cause any ill effects.
